Standing strong before the opposition

I realize a lot of evangelical friends are praying that the president will stand strong in the face of impeachment proceedings.

As Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove has observed, the Bible tells us of another world leader who stood strong in the face of opposition. The book of Exodus reminds us that in the end, the plagues destroyed Egypt and pharaoh lost his army when it drowned in the Red Sea.

Egypt never recovered.
