The only thing about Kennywood today that really irked me was the stupid so many people had on full display.
Most people seem to get that there’s a potentially lethal virus on the loose, and they’re following the rules. Stay 6 feet apart. Wear a face covering. A noticeable minority have trouble understanding this.
I saw people with their mouths covered but not their noses.
I saw people with their noses covered but not their mouths. Seriously.
A few people had their chins covered, but only their chins. And how do you breathe?
A couple people managed to cover their lower lips, but no higher.
As we waited to get on one ride, one of the park employees corrected another guest. “Put your mask on correctly!” she said. I got the impression she’d said that a few times.
She’s breathing the same air as a hundred idiots every day, probably for minimum wage. I wanted to cheer for her.
I did.
Put a mask on when you’re in public. Cover your nose and your mouth entirely. It’s not that hard.
